The CNN Center is directly across the street from the Georgia Aquarium. They have tours throughout the day of the CNN Center. You can see news being reported live from the catwalks above the stadium. While on the tour I saw some of the well known reporters for CNN walking the halls and reporting the news live.

World of Coca Cola

Distance: walking distance from the Georgia Aquarium

The World of Coca Cola is also a nice attraction to visit when in downtown Atlanta. It is a little walk from the Atlanta Aquarium, across from the entrance of Underground Atlanta. There is some fun memorabilia in the exhibit along with many samples of coca cola. Just be careful drinking too much of the free stuff as I was completely wired after the tour!

Underground Atlanta

50 Upper Alabama St
Atlanta, GA 30303

Distance: downtown Atlanta

Underground Atlanta, downtown Atlanta is also within walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium. Underground Atlanta is a mall underground in downtown Atlanta. They also have many nice restaurants here. While visiting we had our lunch in the underground as it was sweltering warm above ground. It was nice and cool below. Shopping wasn't my thing, but my wife loved it.
